Originally established as a family homestead in 1881, Windler is now evolving into a dynamic mixed-use master-planned community that blends history with modern development. Spanning over 850 acres, this thoughtfully designed community will feature more than 4,000 residences, multi-family housing, hotels, a data center, and a variety of retail and commercial spaces. Designed to foster connectivity and quality of life, Windler will integrate open spaces, walkable neighborhoods, and thoughtfully curated amenities to create a thriving, sustainable environment for residents and businesses alike.

Walls Planning + Design is proud to serve as the design project manager for this transformative development. Our role encompasses conducting in-depth site feasibility studies, designing residential lot layouts and open spaces, and providing landscape architecture and planning review. Additionally, we work closely with the City of Aurora to navigate the entitlement process, ensuring smooth approvals and regulatory compliance. Our expertise in urban planning and design helps bring the client’s vision to life, balancing aesthetic appeal, functionality, and long-term community success.
